Q1: Do you have any contract commitments or future obligations at the end of promotional period?
A1:No. Our promotions have NO hidden fees, contract requirements, or future commitments.
Q2: If I post a position right before the end of a promotion, will I be charged regular fees when Career Tunnel still advertises my job listing?
A2: NO. As long as the job listing (s) is posted prior to the end of the promotion, you will not be charged fees to keep your postings at our site for 90 days. The position will be automatically removed after 90 days. If you want to post the same vacancy after the promotional period, you will need to add credit and post the vacancy.
Q3: Do I still need to pay any amount when Career Tunnel is having a promotion?
A3:NO. During our promotions, all jobs are $0.00 unless a different promotion is presented. So, you do not need to worry about any payment.
Q4: How do I post job(s)?
A4: First register (FREE), and click on the choice of POST JOB at the top right side of the page. Add credit to your account for the exact amount of the jobs that you would like to post. The system will take you to PAYPAL to add credits; afterwards you will be directed to POST JOB site.
Q5: When I add credit, should I wait couple minutes to see the credit in my account?
A5: Yes! Please give PayPal at least 2 minutes to communicate through Career Tunnel website.
Q6: How and where can I see my credit balance?
A6: Please click on "Post Job" to see the credit balance in your employer account.
Q7: When will my job posting expire?
A7: If you don't remove it earlier, it will expire automatically at the end of 90 days.
Q8: What if I want my job list to be posted more than 90 days.
A8: You will have to repost your job at the end of 90 days.
Q9: What if I want my job list to be expired earlier than 90 days?
A9: It is job posting agent’s responsibility to remove the job list. If you let us know the day your job list to be removed, Career Tunnel will also be happy to help you with the removal.
Q10: What kind of payments do you have?
A10: Currently, we use PayPal as our payment method. We also accept invoicing for bulk order as long as invoice is paid within 45 days from the date of issue.
Q11: How do we add our company logo to your site as home page advertisement?
A11: You provide us your logo within specified requirements and we will post your logo advertisement for you.
Q12: How soon will my ad appear on your site?
A12: Ads will appear within 48 hours upon purchase confirmation.
Q13: How can I be a " Featured Employer " and have all my jobs listed under featured employer logo?
A13: Any agency/firm posting over 30 jobs can be a featured employer by paying $400.00 one time fee for Featured Employer logo set up and job transfer into the account.
Q14: As a job seeker do I have to register with Career Tunnel or login into my Career Tunnel account?
A14: Yes! It is a security measure that we take to protect our users.
Q15: Do you accept any resume on behalf of a job seeker to apply a position in your website?
A15: No! Job seekers should apply to a position by clicking on the employer’s indicated application method in Career Tunnel website.
Q16: If I need to apply directly through employer’s apply button, why would I need to post my resume?
A16: Many firms, especially private firms, and recruiters utilize resume search database frequently. Posting your resume will increase your chance of being recognized by private firms recruiters.
Q17: Is your price range compatible in the market?
A17: Yes! There are some other cheaper job listing services that provide similar job vacancy announcements. CAREER TUNNEL is based on the mission of Comprehensive but Specialized resources. We include three primary job categories: Engineering, Planning, and Environmental. Other similar services mostly serve for one of these categories, and post vacancies for a shorter period (30 days, 60 days) of time, while CAREER TUNNEL posts for 90 days.
Q18: Why would I use your Calendar services?
A18: CAREER TUNNEL is dedicated to provide the most comprehensive Calendar of Events resource tool. It will provide a broad range of events, and you do not have to check every individual calendar of events separately, but rely on one source, CAREER TUNNEL.
Q19: How fast I can get a response to my e-mail or phone message?
A19: Our operation team works Monday through Friday between 8:00Am-5PM; (PST). We also work on Saturdays between 9:00AM-1:00PM (PST). Your e-mail and phone message will be responded to within 48 hours.
Q20: How often do you update your Calendar section?
A20: Calendar section is updated on a daily basis based on the amount of event notifications we receive.
Q21: How secure is your web site?
A21: Your username, password, and all your information is encrypted using a minimum of 128 bit encryption and secure sockets layer. We do not store any of your credit cards or bank numbers ourselves. We have partnered with major, respected merchant gateway PayPal which specializes in keeping your credit card and bank account data secure. If you enter credit card information, that information will be stored on secure systems managed by PayPal.
Q22: I am not an engineer, planner or environmental planner. Can I still post my resume?
A22: Yes, you can. CAREER TUNNEL has a miscellaneous category while posting a resume. As long as your resume can be a value to these multidisciplinary fields such as manager, admin assistant, accountant, etc., you can post your resume to CAREER TUNNEL.
